4th of July FATR band wagon

Dennis Dotson

We may have sounded like a band wagon, but it was our praise team amplified at a holiday level. Our very own Fourth of July Christ Warriors, serving Robson Ranch, sang and passed out ice cold water to parade participants and watchers. Those that did not already know us, could see from the banners our church is right here, a part of Robson Ranch consisting of “yours and ours” very own friends and neighbors. This year we we’re able to get many of our Praise and Worship team to attend and sing patriotic songs while cheering on parade attendees. Even our Pastor Ed Jones and wife Edie walked with the water carts passing out ice cold water. While we salute the many wonderful floats in the parade, I believe ours was highlighted as being the loudest. If you wondered, yes, we mobilized our church sound system.

If you don’t know, our nondenominational church meets at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday here at the Ranch Clubhouse. What makes it so special to us is you! We enjoy new friends, worshiping Christ together and SHARING fun times right here in our own community. After all, where does church casual include the ability to ride your own golf cart to church? Please watch for more upcoming fellowship events and come join us!

Our patriotic participants included Mary Alice Benton, Clark and Rosalyn Culpepper, Pam and Dennis Dotson, Wayne Detjen, Mark and JoAnn Harty, Kathy Heberlein, Pastor Ed and Edie Jones, Jerry and Glynis Ramsey, Jo Ann Rice, Charles Reynolds, Nancy and Ken Rogus, Jay and Letha Straub and Andre Marrou. Thank you to the many families that also contributed frozen cases of water on parade day. We couldn’t have done this without you. God bless this country, our community and all of you, our neighbors at Robson Ranch. Please come join us, be a part of our church and help us expand what Fellowship at the Ranch means!
