Ready for golf

Wednesday, June 10, was the second Nine and Dine event for 2015. After rescheduling due to Mother Nature, we still had over 50 golfers that took to the course for a fun evening of scramble golf. Golfers met and played with those that were new to the Ranch as well as fairly new to golf. Old friendships caught up, and new ones were cemented.
Over 60 diners celebrated at the Wildhorse Grill with chicken picatta, salad, soup and rolls. We certainly enjoyed the air conditioning inside the Grill after the sticky air outside. Our winners graciously accepted their generous winnings with humility. Our first place winners were Larry and Deb Nortunen, Judy McDuffie and Teresa Blackburn Korn who pocketed a whopping $10 each.
I think I see a pattern forming with our second winners. It just takes one gentleman and three ladies to support the winners. Tanya Jones, Shirley Green and Ann and Mick Fox walked away with $8 each.
Third place with $6 each were John and Jane Thompson and Skip and Sheila Van Pelt. Fourth place with $5 each was yours truly, Janie Farnsworth, with John Saunders and new Ranchers Art and Gwen Heinen. Fifth place with $3 each were Frank Ruggiero, Phyllis Formals and Dick and Carol Cooley.
