The Baby Boomer group at Robson Ranch met at the Drunken Donkey in Denton for the first meeting in July. It was a great turnout with almost the whole reserved room filled with Boomers. The Drunken Donkey is known for its 144 tap beers, which is the most anyone in the group has heard of. The food was equally impressive, and everyone enjoyed the entrees. It is also more of a sports bar with what seems like hundreds of TVs turned on to current sporting events. Lucky for the group that the Texas Rangers were playing the Minnesota Twins live that evening. In extra innings the Rangers won 3-2!

On Monday nights the Boomers gather to just visit, play water volleyball or float in the outdoor pool in the summer. On the first and third Fridays Boomers meet at the Grill at around 6:00 p.m. Come on out and meet the younger crowd here at the Ranch. No dues, no sign up, no speakers, just grab a beverage or a meal and meet some new friends! Any questions can be directed to Paula Sales at [email protected].
