Beat cabin fever – Join the Living Well Walkabouts

A walk in the rain for these Robson Ranchers

A walk in the rain for these Robson Ranchers

The unpredictable and unseasonably rainy weather throughout May and June had kept many Robson Ranchers indoors. But for others, they beat “cabin fever” by joining the Living Well Walkabouts. Eleven walkers braved the light rain during the early morning of May 16. Yet everyone agreed to forge onward, and with luck on our side the rain stopped about 10 minutes into the route. Everyone completed the walk in high spirits despite our damp hair and clothing.

The early morning of June 15 was met with one-half inch of rain. But by the 8:00 a.m. start time the 12 walkers saw the clouds move on and the skies cleared, perfect weather for the three-mile walk around the community. Despite the rapidly rising temperatures and humidity, the walkers completed the route in just at 50 minutes; not too bad for a bunch of retired folks.

Come join the Living Well Walkabouts held at least one Saturday morning each month, weather permitting. The three-mile routes are clearly marked by directional signs.
