In June and September, the Tribe will have two nutrition and cooking demonstrations.

Katherine Lawarence from Food Saved Me will be conducting both of these two-hour presentations.

The first presentation, in June, will be about what you can do to prevent Alzheimer’s. It will be held on Tuesday, June 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Aynn Riback’s home.

By attending the Alzheimer’s Prevention presentation, you will learn three easy steps you can take to protect your brain and the power foods to eat to improve brain function and health. You will also learn how “bad” fats magnify the effects of toxins in the brain and the specific foods that can protect you. The presentation will include nutrition information, food samples and printed recipes. You will get to see how the food is prepared.

The second presentation, in September, will be about how to prevent and reverse diabetes. It will be held on Thursday, September 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Brandy Wismer’s home.

This Diabetes Prevention presentation is designed to show you how Type 2 Diabetes can be reversed and how Type 1 Diabetes can be lessened by your dietary choices. Katherine will provide you with very useful nutrition information as well as provide you with a few useful recipes to take home and use immediately.

If you would like to attend either or both of these presentations, please contact Aynn Riback by email at [email protected]. Each event is limited to the first 20 people who sign up, so sign up as soon as possible to reserve your space.
