Curtains up for Januart 28 Concert

Karen Synnett

“Curtains up! Light the lights! You got nothing to hit but the heights!”

The Robson Chorale’s Music from Broadway concert is Sunday, January 28, at 4:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse. We will perform medleys from West Side Story, Porgy and Bess, Les Miserables, and Evita. The program also includes a Rodgers and Hammerstein medley with some of their most popular Broadway show tunes and solo works. Everyone is certain to hear familiar and favorite tunes from the past.

Tickets can be purchased starting January 15 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the Clubhouse. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

The Robson Chorale is a small ensemble of singers interested in a musical challenge. We rehearse and perform under the direction of Tom Miyake who has over 40 years of experience conducting choirs. While we work hard, we have great fun! “Let us entertain you!”

We have started practice on our repertoire for our spring concert in May. We rehearse Sundays at 5:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse. Stop in and check us out or contact director Tom Miyake at 940-262-3525.
