It was a lovely spring evening on April 11 for the R.R. Dance Club’s Spring Fling. One hundred seventy one dancers enjoyed the music by D.J. Joel Morris of Bill Cody Productions.
Joel kept the dance floor full with line dances, country two-steps, swing and a mix of great music. He even provided appropriate background music for each of the door prizes.
Our sponsors for the prizes were On The Border, Fuzzy’s Tacos, Villa Grande, Cowboy Chicken, R.R. Music Club, Henry Evans dance lessons and Paradise Liquors.
We have two dances left this year, Island Escape on Friday, July 25, and Harvest Moon on Friday, September 12. Come join us; the dues for a half-year are $5 pp, and the dance is $5 pp. Tickets for the July dance will go on sale July 14 at the clubhouse. Watch the website for details.
The ballroom was festive with spring flowers; thanks to all who helped decorate. We appreciate you and also those who stay behind to take down decorations.
