Over thirty members drove to Roanoke’s Classic Cafe to listen to Chef Charles explain what he grew in his gardens and used in recipes in the cafe. Afterwards, the members had a delicious lunch at the cafe. Many new members got to know one another over lunch. The club was invited to return next June to see all the herbs and vegetables at the peak of their season.
