Friends and family were welcomed to Al Wright’s 80th birthday celebration with frozen margaritas and Bellini.
Many family members traveled from out of town to celebrate this special occasion. Daughter, Lisa Averette, and her children Chloe and Cam Gwinn from Lewisville, Texas and their grandparants, Herm and Kathleen Averette, all the way from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Cousins Charlotte Wright Day and her husband Charles, from Montgomery Texas and Mary Wright Shipley, from Irving, Texas, traveled to the notable event. Mary introduced Viv and Al and made a match. Old friends Alvin and Sheryl Dalton from Bedford, Texas and numerous longtime friends from the Ranch were present. Members of Viv and Al’s social groups from the Ranch attended: The Game Gang, Wine Stewards, Heard It Through The Grapevine and Margarita Babes. So many special people came to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Hot n’ spicy Mexican cuisine, chips and dips and yummy cupcakes were served. Al was presented a birthday cake with candles with “80” in big numbers. Around sixty attended, bestowing cards and gifts. Laughter and conversation filled the air, making for a festive evening in celebration of our birthday boy.
