Home and Garden Show Is Shaping Up

LaDonna Womochel

The Home and Garden Show, scheduled for Aug. 28, organized by the Robson Ranch Women’s Club is going to be a dandy. One of the best things about this show is that the proceeds generated from this event will be donated to Our Daily Bread Together with Monsignor King Outreach Center.

There will be 55 to 60 vendors who have products or services that will improve our lives and our homes here at Robson. You will be able to chat with landscape maintenance and design companies, companies that sell windows, shutters, screens, plant nurseries, kitchen and bath specialists, interior designers, plumbing companies, companies that focus on pet care, flooring specialists, and a whole raft of other companies that focus on home improvements.

Here are a just a few of the vendors that will have booths and information to share: Grapevine Golf Carts, Kitchen Tune-Up, Lime Coat DFW, Security Screens and Shutters, Renewal by Andersen, Meador’s Garden Center, Closets by Design, Decorating Den Interiors, Tree Shepherds, TreeNewal, Wallbeds’n’More, and Statewide Remodeling. What an easy way to do some research on what you can do to your home.

There is a raffle where the winner can choose between a Weber Spirit 3-315 3 burner gas grill that retails for $649.99 or a Traeger 22-Pellet Grill that retails for $599.99, donated by Justin Ace Hardware. The tickets are $5 each or five for $20. They will be available in the clubhouse from 9 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, and 20.

So put Aug. 28 on your calendar. You will be inspired to refresh your home and, in turn, yourself.
