If you enjoy chili and intense competition then don’t miss the Kiwanis Club’s annual Chili Cook-Off on October 29 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Nothing gets amateur chefs simmering under their aprons like a good, old-fashioned chili cook-off. The contest provides a bit of savory competition among aspiring chefs at Robson Ranch while at the same time raising funds for Denton area special causes.
Mark your calendars, gather your family, neighbors and friends and join in the fundraiser supporting charities and services for the children of Denton. Your $10 ticket buys you plenty of chili as you sample each entry, all the fixings, hot dog, salad, cornbread, dessert and drink.
Tickets sales are October 16-27 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the clubhouse from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. For questions contact Carol Rauhauser at 940-262-3163.
