Karen McDaniels shares Meditation for these Unsettling Times March 18

Shirley Waterhouse

Are you feeling overwhelmed by emails, internet advertising, television news and commercials and those annoying auto dial phone calls? Join us at our next Tribe meeting on March 18 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Blue Bonnet Room of the CATC Building and discover how meditation benefits health and well-being in these unsettling times.

Robson Ranch resident Karen McDaniels will talk about how being quiet inside benefits us not only emotionally, but also helps heal the body and gives us a higher quality of life. She will share several meditation concepts that everyone can do anywhere, any time. If you have struggled with a meditation practice, you will learn about and practice techniques that may help you.

Karen has practiced and taught meditation and yoga since 1992. She has studied with David Ji, Siri Bahadar Khalsa, Saul David Ray and other globally recognized practitioners.

Dr. Michael Waterhouse, Board Certified Family Practice Physician (retired) will also present our monthly Medical Minute on “Formula of Addiction”. Mike’s presentations are usually educational and entertaining.

All residents are welcome to attend all Tribe meetings at no charge. We are a group of supportive friends and neighbors seeking to empower members to enjoy mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing through education, support and inspiration. A plant-based diet is encouraged but not necessary or criticized. Please join us Sunday night, March 18 at 6:00 p.m. for yet another wonderful Tribe evening of empowerment.
