Kiwanis calling for Citizen of the Year nominations

Ralph Bunker

People helping people one person at a time is a value held by all Kiwanians. The Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch is aware that there are many hard-working, caring residents at the Ranch who are not Kiwanis Club members. Each year the club recognizes one of those residents, highlighting their community accomplishments inside and outside of Robson Ranch. This will be the club’s 10th year in making such an award. Last year’s honoree was Kathleen Wazny. Previous year winners were Mike Conley, Ben Dickerson, Linda Kurita, LaDonna Womochel, Charles Runner, Jeanne Barger, Art Masciere and Donna Chabot.

We know there are other equally caring individuals just like Art, Linda, Jeanne, Donna, Charles, LaDonna and Kathleen and Mike living here at Robson Ranch. Please get us your nominations for 2017 Citizen of the Year before September 1 so we can honor another deserving individual. The qualifications are quite simple. The individual must meet the following requirements:

Be a resident of Robson Ranch

Bring positive recognition to Robson Ranch

Go above and beyond to improve the quality of life at Robson Ranch, modeling an inclusive, well-rounded level of volunteer service not based solely on political or religious contributions.

And not be a member of Kiwanis. We have other awards recognizing our own members.

Send your nominee’s name and attach a letter telling why you think this individual deserves to be Kiwanis Citizen of the Year for 2017 to Ed Kerr, 8700 Crestview, Denton, TX 76207, 940-271-0282. The submission deadline is September 1, 2017.
