On April 19 Kiwanis held its spring Bingo Blast. It was much better weather than the February event, and 145 enthusiastic players were on hand. We hope you were one of the winners of the over $1,500 in prize money given away. Thanks again to the North Texas Bingo staff for running the successful event to benefit the Kiwanis International program to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus around the world. See you in the fall for the next Bingo Blast!

In addition to the game itself, the afternoon provided a great opportunity for friendship. All had a good time. And we learned how to artfully use our “dopers.” Fellow Kiwanian Mike Weaver spends a great deal of time making sure all goes smoothly.

The Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch is dedicated to serving youth and our community in so many different ways. All bring tremendous enjoyment and sense of fulfillment. If you are like-minded, we encourage you to join us. Just come by one of our meetings to find out more. We meet every first and third Friday in the Bandera Room of the clubhouse at 8:30 a.m. We hope to see you there.
