Lady Niners to march again in the 4th of July parade

The Wildhorse Lady Niners will once again march with their “nine iron” batons in the Robson Ranch 4th of July parade. Somewhere in the parade crowd last July, a little voice asked, “Where are the ladies with the sticks?” We won’t disappoint you, little guy, we will be back this year. We are currently practicing new routines in the gym (the streets get too hot in June!). So, look for us. This year’s music is contagious and we are sure to have everyone dancing in the street.

Also, riding for its final year will be the WLN Princess float with past winners: Rose DePoe, Janie Farnsworth, Virginia Wheelless and Barb Holst. Look for the big crown and jewels. Coming this fall, we will change the Princess Tournament to the Lady Niner’s Charity Golf Tournament. Open to everyone, all proceeds will go to the Diabetes Education Center at Presbyterian Hospital. Mark the date for October 8!
