Olympic Games are on the fore-front

Some sporting events occur every year: baseball/World Series, football/Super Bowl, the Indy 500, the Masters, and here at Robson the Olympic Games. The Living Well Senior Olympic Games features almost 20 sporting or wellness events. The multi-sport athletic competitions promote health, physical fitness and improved quality of life and are suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Official game day is Saturday, September 30; month long events start August 26.

Month long events include:

Lap swim, lap walk, team walk, tennis, table tennis, bicycling, horseshoe pitch, horseshoe ringers and dingers.

Olympic day events include:

Robson walk, basketball free throw, water basketball, putting/chipping, water volleyball, tennis, bolo toss, bean bag toss, pickleball and Wii bowling.

For event details and to pre-register online visit the Living Well website at www.rrlwc.com. Bring the completed form with you to registration with your payment on August 14, 16, 18 or 21, 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Clubhouse. Registration is $15 per person (payable by check only), which includes entry into an unlimited number of events, official games t-shirt, participants-only lunch buffet prepared by the Wildhorse Grill and awards ceremony.
