Outdoor Living – Women’s Club Spring Patio tour was held on Saturday, May 30

Gayle Coe, Ways and  Means Chairperson

The Robson Ranch Women’s Club “Outdoor Living” Spring Patio Tour was Saturday, May 30.

This wonderful special spring event offered a self-guided tour that wound its way through the beautiful Robson Ranch community and included special gardening and home style vendors on several patios. Each retailer provided tips and ideas, unique plants as well as outdoor and home décor and gifts.

There were 10 featured outdoor living spaces and homes on the tour. They were Amy Griffin who showcased her breathtaking patio and home complete with one-of-a-kind items and Shirley and Chuck Johnson who prepared sausage snacks and offered margaritas from their beautiful outdoor kitchen. Also on the tour was the home of the Women’s Club President, Teresa Korn, and her husband Eric. They provided a unique golfing experience in their back yard complete with hazards and a putting green. They also offered attendees an opportunity to taste marvelous wines provided by Robinson Financial Group. Avanell and Bill Patton showcased their stunning landscaping and outdoor statuary, which they landscaped and built themselves. Mary and Dennis Pearson partnered with the Garden Gate and decorated their beautiful patio with stunning home décor and exceptional patio items. Lynn Pierce hosted Calloway’s Nursery and The Bow-Legged Cowboy Boutique in order to bring the attendees a magical gardening experience while making available the latest in outdoor plants and interior design. Mary Ann and Danny Rich’s theme was “Texas Is a Whole ‘Nother Country” complete with Texas pecan treats, refreshments and beautiful water features. Kris and Tom Tarczon invited visitors to their “Fiesta” and offered festive refreshments on their stunning patio complete with a fireplace and terraced garden. Jeri and Bill Tech featured their gorgeous patio and completed the touring experience with live harp music compliments of our own extraordinary Robson Ranch harpist, Arlene Pfeil. Jane and John Thompson provided a “Beach Blanket Bingo” patio theme, which complemented their pool. The theme was complete with cardboard cutouts so visitors could take pictures of their own “beach blanket bingo” afternoon.

The success of this special spring fundraising event was made more remarkable because $4,800 was raised. It will be donated to Ann’s Haven VNA Hospice Services and Hearts for Homes.

Thank you to the Robson Ranch homeowners for opening their patios and hearts for this worthwhile endeavor and everyone who purchased tickets. This was possible because of you!
