May is Rotary Maternal and Child Health Month, so Pilot Knob Rotary partnered with Denton Rotary to fill 88 tote bags with infant supplies for new mothers served by Health Services of North Texas (HSNT). An Amazon Wish List was created to purchase and donate bottles, onesies, blankets, bibs, and diapers. Pilot Knob Rotarians got down to business by knitting preemie and infant caps that were included in the totes. The project was such a success and so appreciated by both the HSNT staff and the mothers, that we’re already planning a “Mommy & Me 2.0” for the fall.
