Library volunteers celebrated with a group social as they went back to school. That celebratory chocolate cake was well deserved! Library board members and volunteers hosted and set up two events to assist residents with digital devices after the Denton Public Library switched to a new system called Cloud Library. This is the first time the public library director has led a Robson workshop.

The Denton Public Library director used the Creative Center’s Smart Board to explain the new process with assistance by Robson resident Kathleen Dial. Cloud Library impacts all devices – Kindles, Android, Nook, Samsung, and Apple. Kindle Paperwhite devices can no longer be used due to an Amazon licensing issue. Approximately 100 Robson residents attended the two events. Accomplishing all this in eight days called for a well-deserved celebration!
