The Men’s Golfing Association 9 (MGA9) just concluded its annual Club Championship played under beautiful, sunny skies – The front nine on Monday, October 19, the back nine on Tuesday, October 20. The four flight tournament concluded with a delicious lunch and brief informational meeting in the RR Clubhouse Patriot Room. Tournament winners, each awarded cash prizes, were:

Flight 1: tie at net 67 Ron Cote and Fred Thompson

Flight 2: 1st at net 67 Ray Cushman; 2nd at net 68 Mark Kuxhause

Flight 3: 1st at net 66 Jack Zastrow; 2nd at net 71 Tom Prohaska

Flight 4: 1st at gross 108 Larry Balich, DAL at (score not released) Doug Hughes

In keeping with the fun experienced at the Championship, MGA9’s Mission Statement is as follows: Focus on Men’s 9 Hole Golf by establishing a pressure-free, social, casual, golf experience played from the player-friendly gold tees.

By putting the above into practice, MGA9 has quickly grown to 142 members, 32 of which are exclusively 9 Hole members. With such a great experience in mind, MGA9 looks forward to adding new RR members for more fun and camaraderie on The Ranch 9 Hole courses. And to accelerate our growth and fun we’re offering a combined remaining 2015 and 2016 memberships at the annual price of $25, which includes an $18 Ghin fee (handicap system maintenance) or just $10 for a dual membership with MGA18. That’s two free months encouragement to join today and start your RR MGA9 fun!

Planning, organizing and implementing all of MGA9’s fun drops into the very capable hands of its newly elected board consisting of, President Frank Ruggiero, Vice President Wesson Gaige, Secretary Charlie Webb and Treasurer Norm Leggett.

The board is supported by 10 directors handling specific MGA9 functional areas.
