As fall weather arrives, the Robson Ranch Tennis Club starts its season of mixers and leagues. First up was the Fall Fun Tournament at 4:00 p.m. September 19 to be followed by Octoberfest on October 17. Next up will be a November event yet to be scheduled. The Tennis Club was well represented in the July 4th Robson Parade with a decorated golf cart containing President Diane Ace, her granddaughter, Mia, and Edward and Elaine Barnett. Many hours went into designing and preparing decorations for the cart. Come to one of our drop-in tennis events and meet some of these active members who enjoy the fun and exercise of tennis.

The Tennis Club continues to offer non-gender specific drop-in doubles play at 8:00 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Extra racquets are generally available. You rotate in and play as little or as much as you like and can come and go at any time. Men’s doubles is available at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Our fall ladies league begins play in October. Regardless of your skill level or experience, you will find a welcoming group of players and a great social atmosphere on the courts, so stop by anytime and get to know this merry group of players. You do not need to be a member of the Tennis Club to participate in the drop-in play sessions. Just show up and play.

The Tennis Club is made up of 81 enthusiastic players of all skill levels. If you would like to join the group, club dues are a mere $10 per year. Membership includes participation in at least six organized events per year along with our annual holiday party.
