The Robson Ranch Garden Club will begin its 2014-2015 program year on Monday, September 15, 10:30 a.m. in The Lone Star Room of the clubhouse. Our speaker will be Ms. Lauren Barker, Program Manager, Keep Denton Beautiful. We will learn about this local organization, volunteer opportunities and the services it provides for the Denton community.
While visitors are always welcomed to our meetings, we are a membership club. Our dues are $10 per household, and we will be taking your membership renewal and accepting new members at the meeting. Checks are preferred, as they insure accurate record-keeping.
Just a note: the Box Gardens on the Ranch property are coordinated by the Living Well Committee, not the Garden Club. If you have questions regarding rental of a box, please contact the Living Well Committee; if you have questions about growing things in the boxes, by all means ask a Garden Club member, many of whom do have boxes.
We have been favored with some cooler and wetter weather this summer, so come share stories of your planting successes! And keep hoping for more rain and cool temperatures!
