The Robson Ranch Women’s Golf Association held their first tournament on May 1 with the Member-Member Tournament.
This was chaired by Paula Bone and Linda Scott who did an excellent job. There were 60 players (outstanding!), and the twosomes were computer-generated to play a Best Ball Net format. The tournament was followed by a yummy lunch of salad fixings, pasta salad, chicken salad and cookies at the clubhouse.
It was a fun-filled, long day with great results. The top three places were paid in each of the five flights as follows:
Flight 1: 1st Place, Deb Nortunen and Judy Klenz, 63 (Card Off); 2nd Place, Pat Sands and Ok Cha Cummings, 63; 3rd Place, Gale Hicks and Cindy Sterling, 66 (Card Off Win)
Flight 2: 1st Place, Connie Griswold and Joyce Marshall, 58 (Joyce Blind Draw); 2nd Place, Joyce Marshall and Paula Bone, 62; 3rd Place, Margaret Irwin and Sarah Ray, 65
Flight 3: 1st Place, Lavelle Carlson and Kay McKie, 61 (Card Off); 2nd Place, Joy Pashby and Bonnie Fickey, 61; 3rd Place, Gabie Bull and Ryoko Stevlingson, 64 (Card Off win)
Flight 4: 1st Place, Sallye Ortiz and Maureen Fitzgerald, 59; 2nd Place, Judy Cromer and Neva Rhead, 62; 3rd Place, Janet Rogers and Debra Allen, 63
Flight 5: 1st Place, Sue Halsted and Carole Babcock, 60; 2nd Place, Monica Bishop and Linda Knightly, 61; 3rd Place, Linda Lilley and Linda Brewer, 62
