The “It’s Six O’Clock Somewhere” Wine Club, which meets on the first Thursday of each month, celebrated its second anniversary in November. On December 4 they ushered in the holiday season together with good wine, good food and a good time. There were 21 people in attendance. The hosts, Cheryl and Ray Lubojacky, surprised the group with party “crackers.” The tradition of pulling crackers is a part of Christmas celebrations in the UK, Ireland and Commonwealth countries. The trinket-filled poppers were a true highlight of the evening. That’s where members found the crowns they donned for the photo! A bit of interesting trivia: To date, the longest Christmas Cracker pulling chain consists of 749 people and was achieved in the UK on December 11, 2013. To break the record we would have needed 729 more people! Sounds like a Robson Ranch Party to me!
