Carpets Plus was purchased in 2008 and has been a well-known local brand in greater DFW for decades. Capitalizing on both its diverse portfolio of brands and market leadership in the home renovation category, Carpets Plus announced the launch of new name and new product lines to their already successful business. The Design House, a home renovation and design services initiative, will continue their superior service and products, just under a new name. This is who we’ve always been, but now our name, The Design House, reflects our all-inclusive packages. The Design House was born from owner Jennifer Homeyer’s inspiration to design and create a masterpiece of the home. Located in a newly remodeled 10,000 square feet of retail space, The Design House opens the possibilities within the home remodel. An “all-inclusive approach” is used to make a house a home. The Design House works with custom home builders, contractors, homeowners or any combination alike. Home design materials range from the ‘flipper” materials, builder-grade custom materials and exquisite, high-end selections. With six in-house design consultants, our goal is to maximize the functionality of your family’s home. Customers will continue to work with The Design House experts, who specialize in helping find the right products and services for a variety of needs at home renovation.
