Over 30 club members attended the annual meeting of the Robson Ranch Denton Table Tennis Club on January 10, 2018. At the meeting, new officers for 2018 were nominated and elected: President Bill Cashin, Treasurer Rosemary Simecek, Secretary Don Pooley, and Member at Large Dave Cooper. The officers are already planning the club’s activities for 2018 that include: 1) “fun matches” with the UNT and Farmers Branch Table Tennis Clubs, 2) a Table Tennis class beginning in March with workshops focused on table tennis fundamentals and basic strokes, and 3) expanding the club’s participation in Robson Ranch Olympics Table Tennis Competition.
2018 is a great year to become a Robson Ranch Table Tennis Club member and take advantage of activities that the club sponsors. Already, in the past three months we have seen ten new club members join.
Please stop by and say hello to the table tennis gang during one of our table tennis play times Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon to 2:30 p.m. and on Sunday 10:00 a.m. to noon. Our members are always ready to lend a hand, helping new interested participants improve their table tennis game and become an active player in our weekly table tennis sessions.
