Mexican Train was developed by two people from Newport Coast, California. Roy and Katie Parsons copyrighted the rules for the game Train in 1994. After it became more widely known, the Puremco Company purchased the rights. Now this company produces and sells the Mexican Train game.

After filling up on finger lickin’ good BBQ with all the traditional sides, the Game Game played a friendly game of Mexican Train at Nancy and Pete Toppan’s in August. Vivian and Al Wright claimed the biggest winner and biggest loser positions. Viv was our winner with only 134 points, while Al racked up 415 points. Kathy Zumann won the most games scoring 0 points five times, putting her in second place.

Yum, lemon and lime ice box pies cooled us off during a break as well as frozen Sangria and other coolers on a warm summer game night.
