The Whine-Os’ December tasting and dinner

The Whine-Os closed out another fantastic year of wine tasting with a Champagne Party followed by an excellent dinner at the Wildhorse Grill.

The group first got together at the home of Beverlee Deardorff. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous, and the champagne flowed freely. Roederer Estates Champagne was served along with several delicious appetizers. Gulf shrimp and triple cream Brie complemented the champagne perfectly, and the beautiful veggie platter helped us think we were being healthy!

After consuming the final drops of champagne the group moved up the hill to The Wildhorse Grill for dinner. The grilled cedar plank salmon and maple glazed pork seemed to be favorites, along with creme brulee for dessert of course! The group took advantage of several of the wine offerings at the Grill and then adjourned to the home of Ed and Paula Bone for nightcaps. Specialty of the house, that Robson Ranch favorite: “Buttery Nipples!”

Everyone agreed that it was a tremendous evening for spreading good cheer and went home with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads!
