Today, senior citizens are the largest population doing yoga to stay fit and healthy and Robson Ranch yoga is expanding its program to its residents to keep up with this trend.

Yoga is a complete mind, body and spirit practice. This practice will strengthen and lengthen your body, open up your perspective as it calms your mind. Anyone can do yoga; you do not have to be flexible or strong, Yoga will guide you to become both.

If you are new to yoga, there are several beginner friendly classes. Level 1-2 Vinyasa Flow class is for individuals that have had some yoga background or are physically active. Vinyasa Flow links breath and movement together building on strength, flexibility and cardiovascular practice. Yin is a deep stretch class that targets the joints and muscle, this class is beginner friendly yet necessary and enjoyable for all levels. Dates and times for each class are listed below.

Your first class is free, after which each class is only $5. Please wear comfortable fitting clothes, layering is always the best option as when the body heats up you can take a layer off or as the body cools you can add on. If you have a yoga mat please bring it, if not we will provide one for your use, as well as any other props you might need.

Yoga Room Etiquette: Please refrain from wearing heavy scented lotions or perfumes, no cell phones, and arrive at least five minutes before class.

The instructors are Susan Engstrom and Brandy Wismer.
