Potting and planting flowers

Teachers have gone above and beyond this year as changes were made throughout the school year because of the pandemic. The After Schoolers wanted to show our appreciation during Teacher Appreciation Week with a small gift. At our April meeting the After Schoolers made paper flowers with messages for the teachers of LaGrone Advanced Technical School and Borman Elementary. On May 3, we potted 140 individual flowering plants, along with the message, “Thank you for helping our children grow!”, and delivered the colorful flowers to the two Denton ISD schools. We appreciate all teachers and those who work in education for helping our children grow.
