The April Women’s Club Lunch Meeting opened with President Mary Ornberg having first time attendees and new members share information. Greeters and table decorators were thanked and April birthdays were recognized.

Special Projects Chair, Sally Hampton, reminded the group to watch for details of a fall trip to the Dallas Arboretum in late November.

Ways and Means Chair, Theresa Peoples, spoke of the first fundraiser, a Home and Garden Show on June 2, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Robson Clubhouse, with many vendors scheduled. Ace Hardware in Justin has donated a $350 lighted water fountain for a raffle. Tickets will be $5 each or 5/$20 and can be purchased at the show.

The April charity, Friends of the Family, received $825 in donations.

Sporting jaunty flower lunch tokens, the ladies enjoyed a three salad medley lunch and cheesecake dessert and anticipated the program with pleasure.

Program Chair Rebecca Bafford introduced Creasia Rosenberg from the Soft Surroundings store in Southlake. On an extended stage, and with a cruise theme music playlist developed by Bafford, “Packing for a Cruise” Style Show was narrated by Creasia Rosenberg. Style and color were shown by models Sally Hampton, Darla Mahan, Aynn Riback, Eileen Boryan, Pam Dotson, Betty Silich, Bobbi Hardt, Debbie Hall, Rebecca Bafford and Peggy Crandall. The Soft Surroundings $100 gift certificate was won by Joyce Sjerven.
