The Democratic Club of Robson Ranch hosted its first picnic fundraiser in September. Members gathered at the home of Tom and Janie Cindric for food, friends and fun. The social committee’s Phyllis Ayers, Janie Cindric, Pat Kelly, Tracie Olson, Susan Engstrom and Kay Pfister coordinated the picnic making it a resounding success with more than 50 in attendance.
A raffle was held to raise funds for the club and included political paraphernalia, restaurant gift certificates, Wildhorse Golf Course certificates, yoga classes and many other items. Everyone enjoyed a barbeque dinner from The Juicy Pig with brisket, sausage and smoked turkey served along with potato salad, coleslaw, and beans.
The evening was the perfect venue for members to meet and share ideas as well as highlight the club’s goals for the upcoming year. Come join us on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse as DCRR hosts a variety of speakers and community leaders to better inform and educate us as voters on issues affecting our community, state and country.
