Douglas Gandy
Tyler is owned by Douglas Gandy—or maybe it’s the other way around. Tyler is a four-year old German Shepard that he found for sale on Craigslist. Someone bought a cute puppy but didn’t realize puppies grow into big dogs that need exercise and attention.
Tyler and Douglas moved to Robson Ranch in November 2015 and live on Grandview Drive. They moved here from Norman, Oklahoma. Doug is a retired military pilot and is enjoying the activities at Robson Ranch including the woodworking shop, the poker club, pickleball and the Happy Tails Dog Club.
Those who visit the dog park know Tyler as the “frisbee” dog. Most German Shepards love to retrieve, and he started out with tennis balls. Somehow he progressed to frisbees, and that is now his toy of choice.
Dogs are wonderful and amazing animals, and those of us who share our lives with them are blessed.
