Let the Olympic games begin

It’s that time of year again to strut your stuff at the Living Well Senior Olympic Games! The games feature 20 sporting or wellness events. The multi-sport athletic competitions promote health, physical fitness and improved quality of life and are suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Official game day is Saturday, September 24; month long events start August 27.

Month long events: lap swim, lap walk, tennis, team walk, table tennis, bicycling, horseshoe madness, horseshoe ringers and dingers

Olympic day events: Robson walk, tennis, basketball free throw, bolo toss, water basketball, bean bag toss, putting/chipping, pickleball, water volleyball, Wii bowling, bicycle poker

Visit the Living Well website at www.rrlwc.com for event details and to pre-register online. Bring the completed form with you to registration with your payment on August 15, 17, or 19 at 9:00-11:00 .m. in the Clubhouse. Registration fee is $15 per person (payable by check only) which includes entry into an unlimited number of events, official games T-shirt, participants-only lunch buffet prepared by the Wildhorse Grill and awards ceremony.
