The house band (host) for the October meeting of the Rock and Roll Martini Group was Susan Hebert. Susan picked Aretha Franklin as the featured artist of the party. Aretha was labeled as the number one artist of all times by the Rolling Stone Magazine. Susan passed out an 18-question quiz on Aretha Franklin. The winners with 13 out of 18 correct answers were the group Charlsee Cotner, Suzanne Franke, Donna Harper and Cassie Richardson. The rockers (members) enjoyed traditional southern fare including fried chicken, black-eyed peas and rice, pecan pie and sweet potato pie. The martinis for the evening were an R-E-S-P-E-C-T martini and a Think martini. It was another great evening of loud Rock and Roll music, food, drink and friendship. Until next month rock on!
