After months of renovations the new patio at the Wildhorse Grill is complete. They have added a coffee bar called The Turn that is open daily.

The coffee bar serves lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, mocha, breakfast, lunch and snacks. The Rockin’ Red Ranchers met for a coffee klatch on Tuesday, August 16. Several of the ladies ordered biscuits with jam or gravy and muffins. We all agreed meeting with friends over a cup of coffee and having a conversation was a wonderful way to start the day. Some of the ladies came straight from the gym. They had already finished their morning exercise routine; others came from the pool or water aerobics class. Several of the ladies have decided to meet every Tuesday morning and continue with the coffee klatch.

Our next outing was on Wednesday, August 17 to Tokyo Samurai Hibachi Sushi & Bar in Bartonville. If you are looking for a dining experience with traditional Japanese atmosphere, this is the right place. Here dishes are prepared right in front of you at your table; the talented Hibachi chefs amuse you with their amazing knife techniques and exotic aromas. Twenty-two Rockin’ Red Ranchers attended this event hosted by Valerie Tarren, Jennifer Rahn and Mary Ann Carroll. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment, being with friends and the creative lunch provided by our hostesses. There are no strangers here, only friends.
