June 30 was a beautiful day for golf. It was also the Tuesday before July 4, so the theme for our play day was red, white and blue. Players were decked out in their Independence Day colors to play a red, white and blue scramble. We played from the red tees on par 5 holes, the white tees on par 4 holes, and the blue tees on par 3s. It was a challenging format, but it was fun to see the course from different tee boxes. We were happy to return to our familiar red tees the next week.

Our next tournament is the Member/Member scheduled for August 25. On September 16 we will host the 10th annual Hoofs ‘N’ Heels invitational tournament. We expect to have guests from many area golf courses participating in this event.
