Women Sharing Hope

Catherine Simpson

The Women Sharing Hope group brought joy to families being served by Grace Like Rain by providing a hot meal which included chicken pot pie, macaroni and cheese, garden salad with croutons, applesauce, and brownies. Grace Like Rain is a nonprofit organization serving poverty level women with children. They assist them to get back on their feet after many losses which can include loss of homes, jobs, and spouses. The Robson gals who participated are Catherine Simpson, Linda Smith, Sherry Hansel, Paula Sheedy, Karen Hertzig, Karen Solomon, Patti Lofquist, Deena Barber, Suzanne Spisak, Mary Alice Benton, and Geils Hegranes.

Women Sharing Hope is a group of women giving back to those around them and to the community. This group meets once a month usually on the fourth Friday at different homes. At these events, we gather to strengthen our walk with God by learning more about Him and His love for us. Each month has a different theme and different surprise guest speakers.

In March we are meeting on the 27th and the theme is “Learning to Trust in All Circumstances.” There will be two guest speakers this month, one who will be representing Refuge for Women, a nonprofit organization serving women who have suffered due to sex trafficking. Women Sharing Hope is open to all Robson women. For more information, call Catherine Simpson, 817-707-7707.
