This annual event, which is always one of the most popular of the year, once again ended in complete surprise for all. After two days of golfing the same course, the first-place winners in each flight posted the lowest two-day net total. Recording only their best score for each hole, these ladies took home the cash. Diane Bent, Valerie O’Neal, Malinda Hall, Cyndi Stampf, Kayla Battestelli, and Brandy Walker were the first-place winners in each of the six flights.

In keeping with the theme, the biggest surprise of the day is always the winners of the Most Improved score. Either they played really, really badly on day one or really, really well on day two, or maybe they just found a way to conquer the course. These ladies won most improved in their flights: Shannon Dunson, Kathy Calloway, Yvonne Callaway, Jackie Williams, Tammy Gaither, and Linda Knightly.

Seems like we were all winners, because the organizers managed to pay out winnings to not only first, but second, third, and even fourth place finishers in each of six flights. Wow, what a bunch of smiling faces.
