Residents waiting to start the Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run

At 8:15 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day over 115 residents of Robson Ranch and their family members gathered to dance and spread holiday cheer before starting the second annual Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run. The Turkey Trot was presented by the Robson Ranch Living Well Committee with Fred Thompson and Fred van Naerssen serving as co-chairpersons. Before anyone started the walk/run the participants were led by Fred Thompson to Robson’s rendition of the “Chicken Dance.” The rain, which was predicted, stayed away long enough for everyone to finish the walk/run and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies provided by Rhett Hubbard and Jeremy Trietsch and served by the grill staff. Thank you to each of them.
A special thanks goes out to Don Hebert, Mike Conley, Marti Conley, Dean French, Tim Michelsen, Diane van Naerssen, Ken Talac, Marilyn Zastrow and Ken Zastrow who gave up their Thanksgiving morning to support the participants.
