The UGGs, also known as the Upper Gardenia Gang, had a fun celebration for St. Pat on the Ides of March 15, at the home of Bill and Theresa Peoples. There was Guinness Irish beef stew, with mashed potatoes, soda bread and Irish butter. Also served were Reuben dip and Reuben croissants and other appetizers. The featured drink of the evening was the Sparkling Shamrock and a few Dirty Leprechauns!
We had three guests, (Diane William’s family from California) who were welcomed and helped make the evening special for all.
The show of green worn by many made it truly a lucky Irish celebration even if it was a couple of days early.
