RR Singles Club Trip to Rangers Baseball

RR Singles ready to cheer the Rangers to victory

Mark Mills says that the Rangers Championship ring fits perfectly!

Fifty-three Robson Ranch Singles Club members boarded the bus for a fun afternoon of Rangers baseball on May 29. It was Dollar Hot Dog Day, and the Rangers played a repeat of the World Series game with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Rangers won, like the champions they are, 6-1.

We enjoyed the hot dogs and cheers along with a visit from our Rangers’ representative Travis Kotzur who brought his 2023 World Series ring for us to try on. Mark Mills, trip captain, said, “It fits perfectly!” Mark worked up some trivia questions for us on the way down on the bus and had traditional peanuts and Cracker Jack for prizes.

The Singles Club has activities nearly every week. Our next outing is a Pizza and Bowling Party in July, then a bus trip to the Kimbell Art Museum in August. Plus, we have our Halloween and Christmas parties this fall.

If you are single and would like to join us, we meet every second and fourth Tuesday at the Wildhorse Grill for a friendly Mix & Mingle from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Contact Membership Chair Pam Peterson at [email protected] to find out how to join, or President Mary Fabian at [email protected] if you have any questions about our club.
