Anniversary, Adoption, Action, and Andy!

Conservative Women of Action with Texas House Rep Andy Hopper and his wife Amanda

The Woman-to-Woman Pregnancy Resource Center of Denton held its 38th Anniversary Banquet and Silent Auction on Sept. 26 to celebrate the ministry’s victories over the last year. The event raised $130,000 to use towards loving and valuing every human life God has created.

More than 500 supporters filled the Denton Convention Center at Embassy Suites to hear keynote speaker and recording artist Mark Schultz sing Christian songs and tell his personal story of being adopted as a baby. His powerful message continued as he told the story of adopting two of his four children. What a wonderful testimony on the immeasurable value of life!

The Robson Ranch Conservative Women of Action were there to take a stand for life and support this valuable ministry. Three of our auction bidders were successful in winning auction items, including restaurant gift certificates, a guided fishing trip, and a two-day stay at a large resort cabin at Broken Bow. In addition, we were honored to have Texas HD 64 Rep Andy Hopper and his wife Amanda in attendance showing their support for the ministry. By the time you read this, Mr. Hopper will already be down in Austin preparing bills to protect the rights and lives of his constituents. We were proud to have our photo taken with the Hoppers and look forward to his representation in the Texas House.

The Conservative Women of Action are looking forward to another year of volunteering at the Twice As Nice Resale store sorting donations, hanging clothes, putting out housewares, bagging purchases, and whatever other tasks are needed. All the proceeds from selling donated goods go towards operating funds for the Woman-to-Woman Pregnancy Center and their mission of loving and supporting children and families. Mondays are half price days for seniors ages 55 and up at the store. Come on up to Denton and check out the treasures!
