The house band (host) for the October meeting of the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Cassie and Jim Richardson. Cassie and Jim chose John Fogerty as the featured music for the evening. John Fogerty is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter for the swamp rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival. Cassie and Jim served up some good old Texas chili (no beans) with all the fixings. The Rockers (members) and guests added in appetizers and desserts. The martinis for the evening were a cucumber martini and the classic lemon drop.
Only one martini glass and no screen doors were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
