November found our Hiking Club members on the Ranger Loop of the Northwest Community Park in Frisco. The short, easy trail was great for beginners to experience a fun, flowy trail system. The 2.9-mile trail is intended for multi-use, shared with mountain bikers. The mix of surfaces on the Ranger Loop went from pavement to single-track, narrow passages on the slightly muddy soil, due to the recent rain.
After the hike, we headed to Poached Brunch House in Frisco for our reward, energetic conversations to go with their tasty breakfasts and lunches. We also talked about inviting some of our friends who might want to join next month’s Saturday hike.
As always, we keep in touch and sign up for the hikes on GroupMe at groupme.com/join_group/102962971/c9597yPk.
