Democratic Club Celebrates a Year of Growth

The Robson Ranch Democratic Club marked the end of a successful and productive year with a joyous Christmas celebration dinner at Salerno’s Italian Restaurant in Highland Village. Members gathered to reflect on their achievements and enjoy an evening of camaraderie and festive cheer. The members were treated to drawings for several special dinners provided by local restaurants.

Throughout the year, the club has experienced significant growth and learning. A variety of speakers spoke at the club’s meetings. These included persons running for or incumbents of various offices, including State Board of Education, City Council, and State Senate. Delia Parker-Mims, the chair of the Denton County Democratic Party, spoke and attended several of our meetings to keep us informed. These events provided members with invaluable insights into the candidates running for public office, empowering them with the knowledge needed to make informed voting decisions.

The club’s impact has been evident in multiple ways. Denton County and Robson Ranch have seen a notable increase in Democratic voter turnout, a testament to the club’s dedication to engagement and education. Members also deepened their understanding of the voting process, further strengthening their commitment to democratic participation.

Volunteerism within the club reached new heights this year, with members stepping up to support both local and national election efforts through postcards and emails. Their hard work and passion for making a difference have left a lasting mark on the community and beyond.

As the Robson Ranch Democratic Club looks ahead to the new year, members remain committed to fostering growth, advocating for important issues, and supporting Democratic values. With such a strong foundation of engagement and enthusiasm, the future is bright for this dedicated group.
