The Choir invites you and yours to come and delight in the joyful tunes of the season. The selections this year are glorious, merry, and diverse—pieces sure to bring fond memories of wonderful Christmases past and all designed to bring joy and jubilation. One piece sure to be a crowd pleaser is “Carol of the Bells,” a staple of Mannheim Steamroller and in the movie “Home Alone.” You are sure to enjoy “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with its lush, expansive jazz harmonies. Of course, nothing says Christmas more than the glorious “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Then be agog as the Choir rocks out on the first rock and roll Christmas song written, the toe-tapping, finger-snapping “Jingle Bell Rock.” Just wait until you hear “Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy.” It is sure to become your new Christmas favorite! The Choir will also show off their musical abilities when in the song “A Holly Jolly Christmas” they all will play an instrument! Get out of town, Charlie Brown. How about that?! Unbelievable! The audience will have a chance to sing “Silent Night” in the warm and heartfelt melody “Peace, Peace, Peace.” Enjoy these and many more exuberant tunes, including the “Hallelujah Chorus,” written by Handel, as he has said he heard from the angels. Come and hear your friends and neighbors performing these delightful Christmas melodies with exceeding great joy!
