We were thrilled to welcome new and current members to our August After Schoolers meeting. We played a “Getting to Know You” bingo game and learned about the two schools we support, Borman Elementary and LaGrone Academy. We will be serving lunch to the teachers and staff of these great local schools. They were very appreciative of the snacks and drinks we delivered on their teacher work day. Plans were made for our outing to the Cowgirl Museum and Blue Bonnet Bakery in Fort Worth.
Upcoming meetings are Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the clubhouse and Oct. 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the Lounge at the Grill. Come join us!
It’s time to clean out your cupboards, closets, and garages! Our long-awaited Fall Community Garage Sale is on Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. You may purchase a vendor parking spot for $15 and sell your own treasures. You may rent one table for an additional $5 while supplies last. Or you can donate your treasures to be sold by the After Schoolers Club.
We will be selling vendor spots on Oct. 4, 7, 9, 14, and 16, in the clubhouse from 9 to 11 a.m. We will be accepting donations on Oct. 19, 21, 22, and 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Watch daily emails for locations. Only gently used or like-new items, please.

Entertainment and dining cabinets
Mirrors, frames, or pictures
Mattresses
Big, old electronics
Clothing, shoes
