Alaska’s landscape is as diverse as it is immense. It is rugged and wild with soaring mountain ranges, rushing rivers, Arctic tundra and half the globe’s glaciers. This remote wonderland provides critical habitat for salmon, caribou, black and grizzly bears, whales, walruses, migratory birds and many others. No one can bring this wild and beautiful scenery to life more vividly than Brent Nixon, naturalist, traveler, and adventurer.
Join Road Runners as we present Brent Nixon on October 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse for an evening of amazing stories and breathtaking images gathered from his years of trekking Alaska’s epic terrain. Over his 35-year career, Brent has shared his love of nature to audiences around the country, and this is your opportunity to engage with a man passionate about our environment and the creatures that dwell within it.
The one-hour, video-filled power point presentation is sure to educate, entertain and enlighten all. Plan to “visit” the mountains, rivers and raw wilderness of our nation’s “last frontier” this one night only. RSVP to Brandt Travel at 703-715-2910.
