The Ranch was awash in blue as the Democratic Club RR hosted a special meet and greet during its February monthly meeting giving its members an opportunity to visit with 13 Democratic candidates vying for seats at the local, state, and national levels. Each candidate shared his/her agenda and vision with the standing room only audience. Before and after the presentations, candidates personally met with club members to address specific concerns.
The candidates were as follows: Linsey Fagan – U.S. Representative District 26, Will Fisher – U.S. Representative District 26, Cedric Davis, Sr. – Governor, Jeffrey Payne (representative) – Governor, Andrew Morris – State Representative District 64, Mat Pruneda – State Representative District 64, Delonia Watson – Justice, 2nd District Court of Appeals, Place 5, Diana Leggett (representative) – Denton County Judge, Yesse Rodriquez – Denton County District Clerk, Amy Manual – Denton County Clerk, Bryan Webb – Denton County Commissioner Precinct 4, Michael Callaway – Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 and Angie Cadena – Denton County Democratic Party Chair.
